The former Governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has asked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate (Mr. Jimi Agbaje) to defect to the winning party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
Mr. Tinubu said this while entertaining guests at his Ikoyi residence to celebrate another All Progressive Congress (APC) win for Ambode as Governor.
While there was plenty to eat and drink and be merry, FNN got a chance to speak with Tinubu and he said “I am a very happy person today and in my happiness, I am always very generous so I will encourage Agbaje to defect to All Progressive Congress (APC) so as to enjoy the dividends of democracy too.
Mr. Jimi has always been a public figure but so far, he hasn’t benefited from democracy and we are willing to be his benefactor here at All Progressive Congress (APC).
We will put aside the rift between himself and Governor Fashola and we will move on”
We got confirmation that Mr Jimi Agbaje accepted the offer and we also hear rumors that he might be appointed health minister in Lagos.
